Monday Montage 210 Sunny Sentiments

The first day of Spring brought snow and rain.  Utah so desperately needs it.  By the middle of the week  80 degree weather - not so bad. I will be wearing shorts and having to shave my legs on a more regular basis.  Work has been busy for me and taken up most of my free time along with spending time with the young women in our church there hasn't been a lot of down time.  I seriously need a vacay!  If only I could convince my boy crush into a road trip or Disneyland.

Along with being just worn out, my creative muse has gone somewhere more sunny.  I resorted to my old standby layout. Next time I promise something more exciting.  I love the yummy purples Stampin UP has incorporated into the DSP.  I cut the pierced blooms out of white and accented with all the colors of the DSP.  YUMMY!

Stamps - Sunny Sentiments
Ink - Highland Heather
Paper - Basic White, Rich Razzleberry, Highland Heather, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen, Flower Fields DSP
Accessories - Brushed Brass Butterflies, Bakers Twin Essentials, Adhesive Sequins, Pierced Blooms, Stitched Greenery Die, Scalloped Contours Die

It seems like I just get the names of the in season colors down and its time to change them.  I am excited for a new catalog and the new colors!

Monday Montage 209 - In the Moment

We got a huge dose of Winter on Sunday!  One day we are almost at 70F and then we get 10 inches of snow.  I am so glad they are still transmitting church meetings through zoom, cause I didn't have to dig myself out in order to attend church.  Whew.

Twenty five years ago March 7th was a beautiful day.  Ask me how I know....It's my 25th anniversary.  It was sunny and one of the most amazing days of my life.  I am wishing I was sitting in that window seat on my card - staring at the ocean.  I will get there, just not today.

Welcome to the Monday Montage Blog Hop  Make sure you make it all the way through by hitting the Next button - you won't want to miss a thing!!!

I have been on the stamping struggle bus the last few days.  No creative juju to be found.  Desperate times call for desperate action, and I found the In the moment stamp set and thought I could do something simple with it.

I love this fun layout, with the little flap.  I love how it opens up to the embossed paper and sweet sentiment.  You can write your note on the open flap.

Stamps - In the moment
Ink - Black
Paper - Pool Party, Basic White, Flowering Fields DSP
Accessories - Layering Circle Dies, Stripes and Splatters EF, adhesive sequins, Cotton Ribbon Combo Pack, Flowers for Every season, Stampin Blends

We Create Sporting Green - Hello Ladybugs

Wow and Yay!  We made it through the gray, dark, extra cold time of year.  March always brings a smile to my face because I married my boy crush at the beginning of the month and the Spring Equinox is March 20th.  The daylight is noticeably longer as well.

Welcome to the We Create Blog Hop.  We are sporting green this month.  Speaking of sporting....March Madness!!!  It helps get me deal with football season being over.  Anything green or spring or sporty.  There are only a few of us and you won't want to miss a thing!

I opted for green and spring.  I guess technically ladybugs and daisies are summer, but I'm throwing them into the mix.  I love it when the leaves on the trees start to pop and everything seems to be fresh and vibrant.  My allergies to trees don't love it, but the exchange is worth it.

Stamps - Hello Ladybugs, Daisy Lane
Ink - Real Red, Black, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green
Paper - Basic Black, Basic White, Granny Apple Green, Pattern Party DSP
Accessories - Bakers Twine Essentials, Matte Dots Pack, Wink of Stella, Banners Pick a Punch, Stitched Rectangles dies, small daisy punch
