Monday Montage 167

Welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop.  I hope you see something that inspires you to create or at least makes you smile.

Salt Lake City has blown up again with the virus.  Hopefully our hospitals will be able to handle the influx of people needing extra care.  Meanwhile, I am staying in my hobbit hole to keep safe.

After seeing the Arrange a Wreath set in the new catalog I was smitten.  It was one of the first sets on my order.  As I sat down to create with it, I decided the stamp set was missing some stars to make a cute 4th of July Wreath.  Most people who hang holiday wreaths on their door have something for the 4th.  I get it... the the whole world doesn't celebrate the 4th with us, but stars would be great for new years and accents at Christmas :)

Well, the wreath I had imagined didn't quite translate to a card, but here goes...(the TH was from a retired set.  Who puts together number dies without a nd and a th???)

Stamps - Pattern Play
Ink - Night of Navy
Paper - Night of Navy, Real Red, Whisper White, Pacific Point, Silver Glitter, Garden Green, Old Olive, In Good Taste DSP
Accessories - Arrange a Wreath Dies, Playful Alphabet Dies, Holiday Rhinestone basic jewels, Whale of a Time Sequins

Stay safe, stay healthy and stay positive.  Thanks so much for stopping by and hanging out for a few minutes with the Monday Montage group.  Your next stop is Dani - hit next to see what fabulous creation she has shared.  Or, if you are traveling the hop in reverse select the back button to see the what amazing projects Charlet has come up with.

We Create Making a Splash

Welcome to the We Create Blog Hop.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you find something that makes you happy and inspires you to create.

I am taking a different direction for Making a Splash.  My nephew graduated from High School with out much of a fanfare.  I wanted to make an "amazing" card for this "amazing" kid.  I know that he will make a big splash what ever he chooses to do.

If you don't have this stamp set, get it now.  It is so versatile and makes a "splash" of a card!  I made the hat using a retired tassel.  The tutorial I used for the hat is HERE

Stamps - Everything Amazing.
Ink - Basic Gray, Garden Green
Paper - Garden Green, Whisper White, Neutrals DSP, Basic Black
Accessories - Wink of Stella, Tassel, Stitched Rectangle Dies

Salt Lake City, like many others, had protests and riots.  I live relatively close to the action and to say that Saturday evening was a little unsettling is saying it mildly.  I hope that everyone is staying safe, staying healthy and staying positive.  We will get through this and thanks so much for stopping by and hanging out for a few minutes with the We Create Crew group.  Your next stop is Kimberley - hit next to see what fabulous creation she has shared.
