I am showcasing the Flower Patch set and the coordinating dies.  There are oodles of ideas in pinterest galleries and online.  I have opted for maybe a more subtle approach.

The blooming card did not photo well.  It is so much more vibrant in person.

Paper - Whisper White, Basic Black
Accessories - Flower Fair framelits, in-color sequins, crushed curry EP, clear EP. Bermuda Bay bakers twine

Second is a non traditional way to use these stamps...

Last but not least....Bag in a box!  Do you remember those.  This one is just adorbs.  I used one of the flower patch stamps along the bottom border.   The DSP is all gold soiree which is all kinds of gorgeous..  I love the gold accents in the paper.

New Catalog Goes Live Today Blog Hop

This is the moment we all look forward to this time of year as the retirement list is published and we anxiously await new rubber and accessories!

Julie Wadlinger's photo. This years new catalog does not disappoint!

We, as demonstrators, had the chance to preorder just a select few of the new stamps and in-color supplies and accessories.  I Love the new in-colors as you will see that is what I have mostly used.

I can't get enough of this hardwood background stamp and how cool it looks on any color of paper.  The linen thread inspiration comes from all those old fence posts tied with rope that seem to stand the test of time.

Stamps - Hardwood, Hello There (exclusive Hostess Stamp set)
Ink - Whisper White, Hello Honey, Meadow Moss, Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon
Paper - Lost Lagoon, Whisper White
Accessories - Starburst Framelits, linen thread, dimensional's, gold metallic marker.

I have seen so many different card layouts with offset  papers.  I had this one in my head and was excited to put it to paper.  I love it when the projects come together quickly.

Stamps - A Dozen Thoughts, Hello There (Hostess set)
Ink - Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Meadow Moss
Paper - Whisper White, Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Moonlight DSP Pack
Accessories - Starburst Framelits, scalloped circle card from Thinlits Circle flip card, linen thread.

This little bag was demonstrated by Donna Griffith at the New Catalog Premier Party.  This little bag measure 4 x 2 and is made out of one sheet of the Moonlight DSP stack (6 1/2 by 4 1/2)  Do you notice the top zig zag edge of the bag?  I used the Tiny Wave Stampin Trimmer rotary cutting blade to create it.  Just gives it that extra little final touch.

This little bag will hold a miniature Hershey bar, or other little candies.

Stamps - Hello There
Ink - Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey
Paper, Lost Lagoon, Whisper White, Moonlight DSP Stack
Accessories - Starburst Framelit, Banners Framelits, 1 3/4 Circle Punch, gold Bakers Twine, dimensional's, Fast Fusion tape, Tiny Wave Stampin Trimmer Rotary Blade.

Lengthwise score at 1, 1 1/2, 2, 4, 4 1/2, 5
Shortwise score at 1/2 in

Cut all edges off except for middle section  (see pattern)
I used Stampin Up's new Fast Fuse Tape.  As strong as sticky strip, but so much easier to use.  I love it for things that need to hold strong.
You can see where to make the mountain and valley folds. These create the gussets to your bag.  The edges meet up and use your favorite strong adhesive and seal them and then seal the bottom up.

Go check out what the amazing Jeanna Bohanon has created just for you!

Promotion Playtime

It is time for another blog hop already.  My how the time flies whether you are having fun or not.  I am so excited once again to be included with these creative ladies.
The focus of our hop was to use product that is currently being promoted from Stampin UP, but not in the catalog or printed publication.

I opted for the Everyday Occasions Card Kit
http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=134797

This box comes with enough supplies and pictures to put together 20 cards, which also leaves you with several pieces and parts left over.  It also includes a  stamp set which covers any occasion you would need to send a card and a couple of ink spots for future use.

That being said, I opted for my own layouts using the kit and my own creativity.  I kept them simple.  The only thing I added that was not included in the card kit was some 3/8 white taffeta ribbon - I love that stuff!

Next Stop the amazing Jeanna Bohanon who just happens to be an Artisan Award winner.  Her creations are always show stopping!  Go check her blog out.

Blog Hop : Sale-A-Bration

Wow, I have really missed sharing my thoughts, ideas and talents with you.  Some new friends of mine have been kind enough to let me start participating in their blog hop.  I hope that I can inspire at least one of my many visitors.  I figured if I participated in something that forced me to keep my blog updated then at least it would be once a month.

Stampin UP's Sale-a-bration is a great time.  Why you ask.....because you get free product.  Who doesn't want/need new product.  I am using one of the Sale-a-bration sets you can choose if you spend $50, which by the way is soooo easy to do.  I wanted to show how easy it is to put together a cute but simple card.

Supplies
Stamps - See Ya Later (Sale-a-bration 2014)
Paper - Whisper White, Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana
Ink - Stampin Write Markers - Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight

This one kind of reminds me of Minnie Mouse, but who can resist red, black and polka dots.
