Monday Montage 196 Dressed to Impress

This last three weeks since my last post has been a whirlwind of craziness.  From road trips, Disneyland, Brunch with new friends, to almost losing my SIL to health issues, Covid Craze, bombings, hurricanes.  Make the roller coaster stop!!!!  I have learned so much about the important things in life and about myself.

Welcome to the Monday Montage Blog Hop - Stick and around as see what these talented stampers have created!

I have had this stamp set sitting on my shelf for quite a while.  I love all the elements and everything in it as it ties to my love of being a girl.  I decided to get it inky!  I love this sentiment, because who doesn't need to hear someone things they are fabulous.  I love the Pattern Party DSP that comes as a hostess option.  So much goodness in there, it has become a go-to when I need DSP.  I added some wink of stella to the pink part of the lipstick tube and to the rose

Monday Montage 195 - In Symmetry

Summer is speeding along and we are so enjoying the great things this season has to offer including home grown produce, sun tans, time spent with friends outdoors and weekend trips to cooler places.  Not so much fun are the fires - smoke, scorching heat, floods and COVID.  In two short weeks and the Olympics is over.  What an amazing and eventful experience for not only the athletes, but the spectators.  Many things we can take away as good lessons learned.

Welcome to the Monday Montage Blog Hop.  Hang with us and you will see some really fun projects that may inspire you.

I chose to use In Symmetry.  I love the bold images and the ease in which to use it.  No special coloring which is great when you want to throw something together quickly, or maybe like me, my skills are not super great.

I saw this fun layout on Pinterest and I wanted to give it a try with this stamp set.  Although any stamp set would work.
Here is a side view.  I love the stepped layers in the back and the inside/outside look of this card.

When stamping this type of card it takes care of the inside as well.  There is enough space to write a lovely note and pop it off into the mail.  Although not real apparent, the ribbon and jewels add just the right amount of sparkle.

Stamps - In Symmetry
Paper - Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Basic White
Ink - Highland Heather, Garden Green
Accessories - Layering Circle Dies,  Many Marvelous Markers, 2021-2023 In color jewels, Highland Heather grosgrain ribbon

We Create - School Daze

Welcome to the We Create Blog Hop - School Daze,  Stay with us - its a small hop.

The first thing that came to mind with back to school of course was school supplies.  I love a new box of crayons, or new pens and pencils and pristine notebooks.  It reminds me of the scene in You've Got Mail when Tom Hank's talks about fall in New York and if he knew Meg Ryan's name and address he would send her a bouquet of sharpened pencils.

Who doesn't love a new back pack for school.  I created a small back pack that would be so cute to stuff, with candy, or little notecards or, chapstick, erasers, gum etc.  So much FUN!

Paper - Poppy Parade, Pattern Party DSP
Accessories - Pale Papaya & White Ribbon, Silver Epoxy Essentials, Paper Piercer.
