Monday Montage 161

Welcome to the Monday Montage Blog Hop.  I hope that you find something that inspires you to create and brings you happiness to see the beautiful creations.

What a crazy time we live in.  I vacillate between super anxious to calm and collected on a daily basis.  Usually when I tap into my Heavenly Fathers spirit, I can feel of his peace and know He is aware of me and my family and friends.

I am missing March Madness!!!  I am working from home in a little corner of my bedroom during the week.  I do get out to walk the dog every day and a few fresh grocery items every couple of weeks.  We say hello to neighbors at a socially acceptable distance.

This little walrus finally found its way into my Stampin UP shopping cart.  He makes me smile!  And those cute little herrings just take the cuteness over the top!

Stamps - We'll Walrus Be Friends, Well Said, Beautiful You (inside sentiment)
Ink - Seaside Spray, Momento Black
Paper - Pacific Point, Whisper White
Accessories - Rectangle Stitched framelits, Well Worn Sequins, sponges, White & Black embossing powder, High Seas Embossing Folder, Stampin Blends, Well Written Dies

I wanted a celebrate big sentiment.  But there is slim pickins for the word celebrate.  I found one that would work in the Beautiful You set and then just colored with the black marker the big time portion of the thanks sentiment in the stamp set.

Stay safe, stay healthy and stay positive.  We will get through this and thanks so much for stopping by and hanging out for a few minutes with the Monday Montage group.  Your next stop is Dani - hit next to see what fabulous creation she has shared.  Or, if you are traveling the hop in reverse select the back button to see the what amazing projects Charlet has come up with.

Monday Montage 160

Welcome to the Monday Montage Blog Hop.  I hope that you find something that inspires you to create!

I can't believe how fast the weekend has gone.  I did make a lovely apple pie for Pi day, but it was given to a neighbor so I can't tell you how good it was, but it smelled and looked amazing.  We spent most of our day on Saturday at a family wedding celebration. It was a special day and so good to see family members.

Today was spent visiting with members of our congregation and ensuring all was well with them, as well as our neighbors.  Especially the single older ladies and men.  We will be talking about this time for years to come.  Corona Virus 2020.  No public gatherings and many working from home.  Kids home from school.  I walk the dog at night and the traffic is just eerily absent. The noise pollution just isn't there.  I fight the urge to run to the store to stock up on items and continually talk myself off the cliff.  Just anxious  - I worry about others who are having a harder time.  I will be so relieved for normal.

My project this week uses Heart to Heart

Stamps - Heart to Heart, Peaceful Moments
Ink - Old Olive, Gorgeous Grape, Daffodil Delight, Black
Paper - Whisper White, Crumb Cake
Accessories - Linen thread, Stitched Nested Label Framelits, Woven Threads Sequins

Monday Montage 159

Welcome to the We Create Blog Hop.  I hope that you find something that inspires you to create!

February packed a punch!!!!  I feel like things are starting to level off and I can get a hold of life again (knock on wood)  It snowed all day Sunday which made for a perfect day to stay in.  It didn't quite turn out that way, - the staying in part - but it was filled with GOOD things.  We got together with some old friends we haven't connected with for a while.  We all brought Indian Food and gabbed the evening away.  I love good friends!

Spring is right around the corner which inspired my card today.  I love the Welcome Easter stamp set with those cute little animals.   The little bunny hopping through the flowers.  Looks like fun to me.

We Create Swing Into Spring

Welcome to the We Create Blog Hop.  I hope that you find something that inspires you to create!

Despite the snow that is falling at my house and accumulating on the ground and my car, spring is on the forefront of my mind.  Even though fall is my favorite season, I look forward to spring more than any other season of the year.  Spring always brings to mind sunshine, forsythia blossoms, trees in full bloom and cute little farm babies.  My swing into spring project focuses on those cute little animals.  The bunny, chick and lamb are just the cutest and I had to have them for my stash.

Ink - Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, Black
Paper - Balmy blue, Night of Navy, Granny Apple Green,Mossy Meadow, Whisper White
