Monday Montage - Hang An Ornament

It's Summer outside mixed with fall colors and yet we only have 86 days to Christmas.  This last month has been full of family, football, fall activities and lots of work.

I created in a rush to meet deadlines, but feel pretty good about the outcome.  Stampin UP has such great stamps and dies, kits and ornaments to make for your tree.

I took one of the circle dies from the stylish die set and mapped out six spots  that I wanted to hightlihgt some of the cute die cuts included in the Christmas offering.

Stamps - Greetings of the Season
Ink - Versamark
Paper - Vanilla, Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Granny Apple Green, Gold and Silver
Accessories - Reindeer Fun Dies, Hang an ornament dies, Iconic imagery dies, Cherry cobbler and gold ribbon, peppermint dots, gold and silver trim, gold embossing powder, stylish dies.

Monday Montage 269 More Than Autumn

It is already the middle of September, and I am going to have to make some to do lists and map out my time.  If not, everyone will be getting Halloween tags and caramel apples for Christmas.

Who doesn't love a good fluffy donut (not greasy)  Any celebration deserves doughnuts.  I thought I would put together a card that could be used for a variety of occasions.  Like...we won our football game...you got a new job...we have a new puppy...you graduated...Its your birthday....and the list goes on.  Its a great kind of card to have in your stash

Monday Montage 268 - Changing Leaves

Oh my goodness - August lasted all of 5 minutes.  Birthdays celebrated and food storage for the winter set aside.  Wishing I was visiting family in Idaho, but the fires around the Sawtooths and that area make for a toxic air situation.  Nobody wants to go on vacation and stay inside all day.  At least, not me.  I am looking foward to what September has to offer.

I keep channeling Fall, even though we are still in the 90-degree days of Summer for the coming week.  I just love this time of year.  This Changing Leaves set shown here can be used almost all year round.  I needed a sympathy card and thought this stamp set would lend itself to a classic look.

I embossed the background and lightly brushed several colors of ink with the small blending brushes to show off the raised image. I used the same colors as the leaves to create a "sameness" in the images
