Step it up With the new Occasions Catalog Blog Hop

I can't believe it is already 2017.  Between work and things at home it seems like I am always working towards a deadline.  Time just seems to fly by.

I have family at my house visiting.  We hare enjoying watching football, movies, playing games and eating.  (Ya gotta add in the food!)  Mostly  we are trying to stay warm.

I took this opportunity to play with my new stamps I got from the new Occasions Catalog.
So much fun!.
I took on the Cake Crazy Stamp set.  This set is super for beginners and on up.  It can be used to create masculine cards and well as girl cards with all the pink fondant and frosting.

I started with the basic stamps and built a cake.

I then added
in the fill-ins that come with the stamp set to give my cake some pizzazz .

I also added an embossed background and cut the cake out and popped in up on the card.  Those of you that don't like fussy cutting will be glad because this is super easy to cut.  Lot of straight lines.
I wanted to add some confetti to liven in up even more, but realized (gasp!) I don't have the confetti punch which would make this super easy.
Hop on over to Jeanna's blog to see what she has come up with.

I actually like the basic one best in this case. The stamp has so much going on that you simply don't need anything else. Love it!
