Monday Montage #139

Do you ever have those days when you feel like all of technology is out to get you.  Nothing seems to be working.  To make matters worse,  I have the cutest doggie begging to go for a walk.  This weekend has been filled with the normal chores and the start of spring cleaning  Feelin the need to PURGE each room of the house.  It is a big job, but I know that I will feel more organized and in control when it is done.

The card for this week uses something old and something new...Isn't it fun to have enough stamps and accessories in your stash that you can add and turn a card into a $100+ to make?   I love these cows!!!

Stamps - Over the Moon, Eastern Beauty (sentiment), Buffalo Check
Paper - Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink - Memento Black, Garden Green
Accessories - Pinewood Planks EF, Stitched Nested Label dies, Many Marvelous Markers, 1/8 Pineapple Punch Grosgrain ribbon, 3/8 Real Red Cotton Ribbon

And the inside....

Monday Montage #138

Welcome to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!

I have been really trying hard to slow down and not try and fill every free minute with something to do.  There is always so much that needs to be done and then there is the fun stuff that I want to do...somehow there doesn't seem time to get it all in.

I took a couple of days off  of work to go to a Women's Conference sponsored by BYU and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Relief Society (that was a mouthful)
There were 5 different seminars each day and each seminar gave me so much to think about.  Ways to improve my relationship with God, family and myself.   Always a good opportunity to think about where I am and the improvements I want to make for myself.

There always has to be time for card making :)

The card for the hop, didn't quite turn out how I had envisioned it.  Do they ever???  I saw a layout in the new Stampin' Up Catalog and thought I would give it a try.  Most of these are new products you can get your hands on starting in June.

Stamps - Daisy Lane, Daisy Delight
Ink- So Saffron, Momento Black ink
Paper - Mint Macaron, Garden Green, Whisper White, Garden DSP
Accessories - Stitched Nested Labels dies, Daisy Punch, Wild Rose Dies (leaves), Bird Ballad Trinkets, Mint Macaron Textile Ribbon

We Create In Color 2018-2020 Blog Hop

And....its raining again.  We can't seem to get more than three days of semi decent weather before we get another drenching.  I do live in a desert and the rain does help with water storage, but it sure makes walking the dog it not so much fun.  Wet dog doesn't smell so great and my curly hair goes frizzy.

This group of  In Colors I lovingly refer to them as our primary colors.  Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Yellow and Orange.  Stampin up calls them Lovely Lipstick, Pineapple Punch, Blueberry Bushel, Call me clover and Grapefruit Grove.

Anyway - Here is my project.  I will never part with Easter Beauty or the Eastern Medallion coordinating dies.  So much fun to play with!!!  The sentiment is from Free as a Bird in the new catalog.

Hop on over to Jeanna's to see what she has created for you

Monday Montage #137

Welcome to the Monday Montage Blog Hop.  Make sure you stick around and check out everyone's creations.

I got to go to Stampin UP's On Stage.  I hooked up with Wendy W and Bree R and had a very enjoyable time hanging out. I love catching up with all my stamping buddies and will be really sad when they change the program to smaller and more frequent get togethers.  It was so much fun and really enjoyed seeing the new products, catalog and all the little do da's.  I fell in love with the Wild Rose set that Pam Morgan demonstrated at the Salt Lake event and knew I had to have it.

Stamps - To a Wild Rose
Ink - So Saffron, Blushing Bride, Merry Merlot, Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, Versamark
Paper - Whisper White, Basic Black, So Saffron,
Accessories -  Subtle EF, Perennial Essence Floral Centers, Gold Metallic Thread, White Embossing Powder,  Wink of Stella, dimensionals.

Monday Montage #136

Its April and the Forsythia is out all around which is a sure sign of spring.  The grounds at Temple Square downtown Salt Lake City are covered in hyacinths, daffodils and tulips.  The trees are budding their pretty pink flowers.  It makes me want to be outside any chance I have.  The thing is... this has been a really wet couple of months, which unless you have full rain gear its not so much fun to be outside.  Oliver doesn't like the rain either.  He sits on the porch and looks at me with eye's pleading to go back in under the blankets.  I get it!  Which is what we will be experiencing later this week...more RAIN!

My card this week uses the wonderful Romance bundle.  If I remember correctly I won the stamp set at onstage in Florida.  So I had to get the dies.  Honestly there has been so much fun great stuff I haven't really pulled it out to use it.

I used my blender pens to color the image.  Those good old blender pens are such a great standby.

Stamps:  Wonderful romance
Paper: Whisper White, Blueberry Bushel, Crumb Cake
Ink - Momento Black, Blueberry Bushel, Old Olive, Granny Apple Green
Accessories - Braided linen trim, pearls, wonderful floral framelits

We Create In Color 2017-2019 Blog Hop

I am not sure why, without googling it, April Fools Day is a thing.  I have never been fond of pranks or being the target of someones joke.  Not my thing.  I have a relative that totally gets into this.  She actually paid a car repair shop to attach the horn to the brake in her husbands car.  So every time he hit the brake the car horn honked.  Can you imagine rush hour traffic in a major metropolis?   Yikes.  I felt really bad for him.

On to card making...We are using the in colors that were announced two years ago that are on their way out.  Get them while you can!!!  I am going to stock up on Lemon-Lime twist.  Such a bright fun color.

One of my BFF's and I got together to stamp a couple of cards.  She completed one and then another, while I didn't quite make it through this one.  For some reason I decided I needed to paper piece all the cut outs with the in colors.  Definitely makes for a fun lineup of presents, and a little time investment.  I love using all the "Stitched" framelits Stampin up has available and the Well Said stamp set that coordinates with those scripty word dies.  So versatile.  A must have!!!

Go check out Jeanna's blog to see what she came up with using this fun color combo....

Monday Montage #135

So here I sit craving a sweet treat and I have dug out my big jar of Jelly Belly jelly beans that I purchased at Costco.  I only buy them this time of year - a) because they are available and b) by the time I finish the jar, I am sick of them!!!  Although, my favorite is pear and I never get sick of that flavor.

I took the doggo out for his afternoon potty break and walked in a short sleeve shirt, leggings and flip flops.  CRAZY!  It was 57 F.  I wouldn't have lasted a long walk without a jacket, but just long enough to enjoy the sunshine and the anticipation of spring.

The project for today features Fable Friends.  I am starting to feel like all my cards look the same :)  My niece has a little gray pet bunny named Winter.  She is a beautiful gray which is what inspired the color.

Stamps - Fable Friends, Apron builder, Postcard Pals
Ink - Momento Black, Granny Apple Green
Paper - Basic Gray, Whisper White
Accessories/Tools - Stitched Rectangles, Groovy Guava, Calypso Coral, Pineapple Punch Markers, Blends, Natures Twine, Silver Pearls

Head on over to Dani's next or Charlet to head back.
